Bank Holiday in Brighton!

On the bank holiday weekend we wanted to go somewhere and get out of the house as I had spent the Friday working and the Saturday cooped up inside the house. Brighton is somewhere I have always wanted to go to, so on Sunday morning we decided to hop in the car and drive there! It is relatively close to where I live so should only take about an hour and a half however we went there when there was a festival so the traffic was crazy and it took us a bit longer! When we got there we walked towards the beach which is really lovely and I got some really nice photos, we then walked along the pier which was like my dream as there was candy floss stalls, donut sellers and candy everywhere! We then went to find some shops, around the shops reminds me of Bath, another city I love as there's lots of little streets leading from other streets. It has become a little tradition to find a Mac store in every city and town we go to so of course we had to find the Mac store in Brighton. I purchased "Kid" eyeshadow and "Melon" pigment (which I am absolutely loving!) Brighton is a town I would really recommend you visit if you haven't done already, we were only there for one day however I am hoping to go for a few days in the summer to explore it some more!

  1. Cute photos! I am at uni in Brighton, so whenever the sun is out, I find myself popping down to the beach to chill all day. I went on the bank holiday Monday and it was HECTIC. Good idea going on the Sunday!

I really want to visit Brighton, it always looks so lovely. I think it'd be about eight hours drive from where I live, though!
