Frank Coffee Body Scrub

About ten minutes after I heard about Frank Coffee Body Scrub, I had placed an order. I had heard 100% positive reviews about it and decided I needed to try it out! They currently make three different versions of the scrub, I chose the original version which contains almond, orange and lots of vitamins and minerals. I really love the packaging, I think it's simplistic yet unique and you get a lot of product (200g) for your money. The scrub smells like coffee which I personally love although some people may find it too strong, I use this 1-2 times a week and I am absolutely in love with it! You just use this like a normal body scrub but you leave it on to dry for 5-10 minutes as this helps the minerals to soak in and help to target cellulite, stretch marks and psoriosis. I've never used a scrub that has made my skin as soft and smooth as this one does, my skin feels baby soft, it's incredible! I can't really comment on it getting rid of stretch marks as I don't have any, I do however have a lot of cellulite! If I'm being honest, I didn't notice too much difference in my cellulite (although I have been exercising and eating better recently and it's so much better!) however I still think it is an amazing product. At first I was apprehensive about using this on my face as it is slightly rougher than other face scrubs, however it makes my skin feel incredible and removes any dry skin I have on my face! This retails for £11.95 which I think is reasonable considering how much product you get and how long it lasts.

Overall I would really recommend this, it's the best scrub I've ever used.
You can buy it here!

Iconemesis Phone Case

Iconemesis are a brand I've followed for quite a while now so I was excited when they asked me whether I would like to try one of their cases! They have so many different artists that design their cases, like Gemma Correll, who I absolutely adore, I have lots of her pug t-shirts! The case that stood out for me was this Sacha Kreeger Leopard case, I love the colours and think it is so pretty! The case itself is made from a really sturdy plastic, which hasn't chipped or cracked yet (despite the fact that I drop my phone quite a lot!) so I'm really impressed. The case retails for £9.99 which I think is a fair price for a phone case, especially one as pretty as this one. I've seen lots of other cases retailed a lot higher so think you do get your moneys worth with this one!

Check out the website here and make sure to have a look at all the different cases they do, they also do free UK standard shipping!

Anjolee Jewellery

I was recently introduced to Anjolee,  a beautiful jewellery website where you can customise all the pieces featured on the site. You can choose the metal you would like, diamond size, gemstone quality and the length and size of the jewellery. You can also pick a design and personalise it with your birthstone which I think makes a really lovely and thoughtful gift! I picked out four of my favourite items from the website, the Round Diamond Four Prongs earrings are very simple but elegant, I love how classic they are. The Surrounded by sparkle Diamond Pendent is probably my favourite item, I absolutely love it! I think it's a perfect statement piece of jewellery and would go with any outfit. I don't wear bracelets too often but I love the look of all of the bracelets on their website especially the bangle bracelets and in particular the Square Link Diamond Bracelet. Finally is the Eternally Yours Diamond Eternity Band, I have a lot of simple rings like this and I love them, I usually stack them with other rings!

I think Anjolee is a really great idea for a company, the prices are below retail prices and they work to give customers the best value for money while still ensuring the jewellery is still the highest quality. It is such a great idea to be able to customise the pieces, I think this makes them unlike other companies as if you love a design but aren't sure about the metal, you can change it and you can make jewellery to suit you!

October Birchbox

Birchbox have partnered up with Coppafeel for Breast Cancer Awareness month to give some advice and information on the signs and symptoms of breast cancer! The box comes with a handy guide of how to check yourself for any lumps and some useful information on Breast Cancer. You also get some guidance on how to use the products in the box! So, here's the contents..

KMS - California Free Shape Hot Flex Creme £15.50
This product is used to "transform coarse and unruly hair" so it is easier to manage and smoother. You simply apply on towel-dried hair, comb through and then blow dry as usual. This also protects your hair against heat so your hair stays nice and healthy!

Shaveworks - The Cool Fix £11
This is one of my favourite products in the box and the one I was most excited about trying as I constantly get razor bumps but it also works for ingrown hairs, razor burn and redness! You just apply this after you have shaved.

Pixi by Petra - Shea Butter Lip Balm £8
This is a tinted lip balm, it comes out a really lovely raspberry colour which I love! I have extremely dry lips and this is a really great moisturising product and I love that you can add moisture to your lips and get a really pretty lip colour too!

Balance Me - Cleanse and Smooth Face Balm £20
This is a cleanser that I use after I have removed my makeup, the consistency is quite thick and it's great on my dry skin as it feels so moisturising and makes my skin feel soft and smooth too. It contains oatmeal powder which acts as a gentle exfoliant so it's great to get rid of any dead skin cells.

Meaningful Beauty - Glowing Serum £30.95
This is a really lovely serum which you apply before moisturiser, it smells lovely and doesn't have a really strong scent so it's not overpowering. It makes my skin feel really soft too!

Lipstick Pen £2.50
I remember having one of these at school! This is the "lifestyle" item in the box, I think it's really cute and my two-year old niece loved it too!

Overall I really like this box, each item is something I will definitely use and so far I love the Balance Me Cleanser and the Pixi Lip Balm!

Ardell Individual Lashes

My natural lashes aren't great, they are stick straight, not long at all and there's hardly any of them! I bought these individual lashes from Ardell the other day as I had heard people go on about how natural and subtle individual lashes look. The set I bought are the medium length which I think are the perfect length for everyday; when you just want a little more volume and length! I use lash glue from Eylure and just dip each lash into a tiny bit of the glue, wait for it to get a little bit tacky and then place them over the top of my natural lashes. I know most people probably think "how on earth do you have time to apply these everyday?" but because all you have to do is apply the glue and put them on top of your natural lashes, it takes hardly any time at all, which is why I've worn them everyday since I have bought them. With the normal full set of false lashes it takes me ages to get them even and looking natural but individual ones are quick, easy and look so natural. Even though I carry eyelash glue around with me, I haven't had any fall off or move at all. I am absolutely in love with these, I have thought about having lash extensions put in but it can be quite expensive. These lashes cost just £5.49 and you can re-use them, just gently pull off any glue from the previous wear! I am so in love with these and am completely sold on individual lashes!

Have you ever tried individual lashes?

St Ives 7 Day #BrightSkin Challenge!

I was really excited to be asked to take part in St Ives 7 day Bright Skin challenge as I've been feeling a bit poorly and run down for the past few weeks. I received an amazing hamper full of treats to help my skin and body, including yummy snacks, skincare items and beauty products! Each item was for a different day of the challenge.

Day 1
Day one's items were the St Ives Apricot Face scrubs, I've used these for years and absolutely love them. They have different versions for different skin needs, for example Sensitive skin and Blemish Fighting. These scrubs are amazing for blackheads, removing dead skin cells and making your skin look brighter.

Day 2
Day two was the Body Shop Deep Sleep Dreamy Body Mist, this is to help your body sooth and aid a good nights sleep. I have been using it every night and absolutely love it, the smell is really lovely, it's very citrusy and fruity.

Day 3
This item was Whittards Organic Detox Infusion, this contains no caffeine so it's great to drink at night to unwind. I absolutely love herbal tea, it's pretty much the only hot drink I like! I've drunk green tea for years as it is amazing for your skin as well as aiding weight loss!

Day 4
I've always wanted to try the EOS lip balms and in the package was the Tangerine flavour. This is now probably my all time favourite lip balm! I adore the flavour, it is exactly like Starbursts! I am definitely going to purchase more of them as they are amazing and their design is really unique and cute!

Day 5
This part of the package contained dried apricots, (the main ingredient of the St Ives face scrubs) your diet is very important in how your skin and body is. I absolutely love dried fruit so these were a lovely treat!

Day 6
"More and more of us are suffering from the stresses and strains of modern life. Mindfulness is an increasingly popular discipline that can not only help alleviate the symptoms of stress, anxiety and depression brought on by the pressures of our daily existence but can actually bring calm, joy and happiness into our lives." This book is very tiny so can be carried around with you and read on the go and would also be a great gift idea!

Day 7
The final product was the St Ives Apricot Body Scrub, this is the body scrub version of their face scrub.   This is invigorating and perfect for making your skin feel super soft!

This was such a fun challenge to do and I've discovered some really great products to help my skin and body in the process, I would really recommend the Body Shop Deep Sleep Body Mist, the St Ives Face Scrubs and the EOS Lipbalm, they were my favourites!

Casetify Darling Dachshund Phone Case

When I saw this case on the Casetify twitter, I completely fell in love with it so I was so excited to be asked whether I wanted to try one of them! This design is one of a few designed by Dana from Wonder Forest, who I love! There are other designs like French Bulldogs, Watermelon and Pineapples! I love this design and I think it makes the case look really high quality as the dogs have almost a watercolour paint effect. It's made of plastic but it feels very sturdy and has held up absolutely fine whenever I drop my phone, it hasn't chipped or cracked at all. I think all the cases are absolutely adorable and I love this one! They have loads of different designs to choose from and you can even make your own using your own photos. Check out the website here.

Glowy radiant skin

As I have very dry skin, it can often end up looking dull and dehydrated but recently I've found a few products which, when used together make my skin look glowy, dewy and radiant! The first step in my routine is the Soleil Tan de Chanel, this is a recent purchase but it's a product I've wanted to try for ages! I simply lightly swirl my Sephora Mineral Powder Brush into it and apply all over my face and down my neck, I think this is great if your foundation is slightly too dark for you, if you want to look like you've been on holiday or if you just want to look more radiant! Next I mix Nars Copacabana illuminator with Nars Sheer Glow foundation, Sheer Glow is a foundation that makes your skin look very healthy anyway but when I add the illuminator, it makes it look even more amazing! If I want more coverage then I sometimes skip mixing the illuminator in with my foundation and use it on my cheekbones instead. To set my makeup I use the Bourjois Java powder, this is similar to the Hourglass Ambient Lighting powders, it just adds a lovely glow to the skin. On my cheekbones, I use my favourite highlighter, Mac Soft and Gentle. This is such a beautiful highlight and it works with so many different skin tones! These products together create the most beautiful base for my makeup and it's great if, like me; you have dry skin!
