Until about 2019, I assumed it was only a product hairdressers could use however when I kept hearing more and more praise towards the brand, I decided I needed to give it a go. Just under two years later and I have one of their products very firmly in my haircare routine, with no sign of it being replaced by another brand.

Olaplex was created by a group of chemists and it aims to link broken bonds back together to repair and prevent further damage to the hair. The products are free from silicone and sulfates and the brand doesn't test on animals. Each product is given a number and they range from a Intensive Bond Treatment to a Shampoo & Conditioner and an Intense Moisture Mask. Their No.3 Hair Perfector is by far their best selling product. It's a thick, rich cream that helps to reform damaged hair bonds so if you've noticed your hair becoming dry due to bleach or excess heat, this could be the perfect product for you. <span style="background-color: white; color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display"; font-size: 12.5px; letter-spacing: 0.6px;">I use it every couple of weeks (although you can use once a week if you wish). I wet my hair from root to tip and leave it on for as long as possible, sometimes a few hours. Olaplex say to leave it on for "at least 10 minutes" however I want to get the most out of this product so quite often I'll apply in the morning, put my hair up in a bun and leave on for the whole day before showering and applying shampoo and conditioner in the evening.

<span style="background-color: white; color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display"; font-size: 12.5px; letter-spacing: 0.6px;">

<span style="background-color: white; color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display"; font-size: 12.5px; letter-spacing: 0.6px;">So, is Olaplex worth the money? In my opinion, the No.3 Hair Perfector is definitely worth the money. At first look, it seems steep at £26 for 100ml but you really don't need a lot of product to cover the hair. Can you find cheaper hair masks that will also leave your hair feeling lovely? Yes. However Olaplex have patented the formula which means you won't find a product exactly like it or even similar on the market. I think it's worth spending the extra money to use something that is not only making your hair feel amazing but also links broken bonds back together to improve the overall quality of your hair. Once I wash, condition and blow dry my hair after using the Hair Perfector, it instantly feels healthier. It feels so much smoother, less knotty and just generally in much better condition. If I had to choose just one Olaplex product to use, it would be this one.

<span style="background-color: white; color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display"; font-size: 12.5px; letter-spacing: 0.6px;">

<span style="background-color: white; color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display"; font-size: 12.5px; letter-spacing: 0.6px;">Olaplex is available at John Lewis, Harrods, Cult Beauty and Space NK.

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">

Georginahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15063178680034150165noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-80215966623209986.post-86982190413134832422021-03-01T08:30:00.001+00:002021-06-01T08:02:59.689+01:00Current Favourite Beauty Products

<span style="background-color: white; color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display"; font-size: 12.5px; text-align: justify;">I love hearing about other people's new beauty discoveries and favourites, it often gives me some new ideas and products to add to my shopping list. I mentioned the Nars Soft Matte Complete Foundation in my <a href="https://www.livelaughlipstick.com/2020/12/2020-beauty-favourites.html" style="font-family: "playfair display"; font-size: 12.5px; text-align: justify;">2020 Beauty Favourites<span style="background-color: white; color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display"; font-size: 12.5px; text-align: justify;"> post, it's now my everyday foundation and I haven't used another one since it arrived. The finish of this is beautiful, it honestly airbrushes my skin leaving it looking absolutely flawless and poreless. On top of this, it stays put all day without going patchy or rubbing off around my hairline (something that happens with other foundations). I think Nars really get it right when it comes to foundations, their Sheerglow is a classic and the Radiant Longwear seems to be in every makeup artist's kit. I knew when the Soft Matte Complete Foundation was released I would have to buy it and I have since recommended it to literally everyone. Another base product I've been obsessed with is the Tarte Shape Tape. I first tried this a couple of years ago, it had been massively hyped up and talked about within the beauty community however for some reason I wasn't blown away by it. A few months ago, I decided to give it a try again after seeing more people using it in makeup tutorials and loving it. For some reason, I now love it. I'm not sure if I was doing something wrong the first time or if they've changed any of the product formulation but I am loving using it. The shade really brightens and covers my dark circles and it also sits nicely under the eyes, without looking cakey or settling into any fine lines.

<span style="background-color: white; color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display"; font-size: 12.5px; text-align: justify;">

<span style="background-color: white; color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display"; font-size: 12.5px; text-align: justify;">For the past year, I've barely used perfume. Why would I need to use it when I'm sat in my house on zoom calls? However, I've had a few trips out of the house recently, to go to the vet and take my car for its service, what a treat, so I wore it for these occasions and it made me feel normal again! One of my current favourites is the Jo Malone Velvet Rose and Oud Cologne, this is a rich fragrance with smokey oud wood. It would definitely work as a unisex fragrance that contains clove and praline. It's really unique and perfect if you want to wear something other than super floral scents and are looking for something deeper.

I've not actually tried many products from Huda Beauty but last year I saw someone recommend the matte lipsticks. I bought the shade Prom Night which is a really pretty nude pink colour and perfect for everyday wear. I have very dry lips so I often struggle with matte lipsticks being too dry and feeling uncomfortable on my lips but this is easy to wear and feels nice on the lips. I'm definitely thinking about investing in some more shades.

What have been your favourite products recently?

Georginahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15063178680034150165noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-80215966623209986.post-44141106817891805732021-01-18T10:38:00.003+00:002021-02-04T13:04:55.024+00:00Current Haircare Essentials

<span style="background-color: white; color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display"; font-size: 12.5px; text-align: justify;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display"; font-size: 12.5px; text-align: justify;">

At the start of last year I noticed how damaged my hair had got, it was broken and dry but I didn't know how to properly take care of it. Fast forward to this year, I decided to really invest in the best haircare products that were going to help to rebuild my hair and ensure it became healthy again. I've struggled with product build up for years and one of the only shampoos that helps to deal with it is the Pureology Strength Cure. I first discovered this when my hairdresser used it on me a few years ago, it made my hair feel amazing. The formula works to repair damage and restore hair strength, it has a blend of Raspberry, Peach and Water Flowers. The shampoo also offers colour protection, helping to keep your colour stay vibrant for longer. Another product I discovered after my hairdresser used it on my hair is the Colour Wow Dream Cocktail. This helps to strengthen strands, relinking and reinforcing hair's vital internal bonds. I apply this to towel dried hair, focussing on the ends as these tend to suffer with breakage more than any other part. I notice such a difference in my hair when I use this, I blow dry my hair and it leaves it completely smooth with absolutely no frizz. I'd recommend this product to anyone as I believe no matter the health of your hair, this could really help it. Olaplex Number 3 is also a brilliant product for hair breakage. It aims to maintain hair strength between salon appointments, helping to reverse damage to relink broken bonds. I use this once a week, before washing my hair. I dampen my hair, apply all over and leave for around 30 minutes before washing my hair as normal. This really helped my hair and even my hairdresser commented that my hair was looking in much better condition than my previous visit. The bottle for this is tiny however you do only need the smallest amount for your whole hair. My final essential is the Living Proof Dry Volume Blast, I bought this fairly recently as my hair can often get quite flat and lack volume. I bought this after I read the brilliant reviews for it and I definitely agree with everyone raving about it! When I feel like I want some volume in my hair I spray a couple of times throughout my hair, mainly towards the roots and run my hands through my hair. It adds volume while not feeling like you've got loads of product in your hair, it feels like you've not got anything in there! Using all these products in my routine have helped to improve the health of my hair and also improve how it looks and feels. These products will definitely remain in my routine for the foreseeable future.

<span style="background-color: white; color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display"; font-size: 12.5px; text-align: justify;">

<span style="background-color: white; color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display"; font-size: 12.5px; text-align: justify;">What are your haircare essentials?

Georginahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15063178680034150165noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-80215966623209986.post-5150329955905994022020-12-31T08:00:00.003+00:002020-12-31T08:00:03.040+00:002020 Beauty Favourites

<span style="background-color: white; color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display"; font-size: 12.5px; text-align: justify;">While most of this year has been spent inside the house, in loungewear and minimal makeup I did still find some great new beauty products that have found their way into my routine. It seems even though I had nowhere to go, I still managed to justify spending my money on lots of non-essential things.

<span style="background-color: white; color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display"; font-size: 12.5px; text-align: justify;">

For me, a lot of this year has been spent trying to take better care of my hair. Trying to use less heat, training it to last longer in-between washes and just trying to make it less dry and damaged. After hearing so much about Olaplex but never actually trying the brand, I decided to do some research and work out which product to try out first. I decided on the No.3 Hair Protector, an at-home bond builder that helps to strengthen and repair your hair. It revitalises and regenerates dry, damaged strands that have been broken due to chemical thermal or mechanical effects. I had really dry, broken hair after having bleach put on my hair at the beginning of the year. I use this about once a week and notice a difference as soon as my hair is washed and dried. Before you wash your hair, get it wet and towel dry it before applying about a 10p sized piece through your hair. I leave for at least 20 minutes before washing and drying my hair as normal. When I managed to get to the hairdressers post-lockdown I was told my hair was looking in much better condition so that proves this product really does work! After I had this hair appointment, I walked out with my hair feeling amazing. Sure, every time I go to the salon, I leave with it feeling lovely but this was different. I remembered the conversation I had with my hairdresser where he was telling me the products he was using on my hair, he used the Colour Wow Dream Cocktail and Dream Coat. I went home, did a little research and purchased the Dream Cocktail. I purchased the Kale version as I knew I was having major issues with hair breakage so felt this was the best one for me, they also do Coconut-Infused and Carb-Infused. This helps to reduce breakage immediately with smooth hair that is detangled and strengthened. What I mainly noticed was straight after I had finished blow drying my hair, it was the softest it had ever been and there was absolutely no frizz. None. I was blown away, I now use it every time I wash my hair and I'm still blown away by the results each time. I'm currently contemplating getting the Dream Coat too.

Because I've been wearing less makeup, I've invested more in my skincare routine. I spent a lot of 2020 trying to get hold of The Ordinary AHA/BHA Peeling Solution, after it was completely out of stock. Eventually I managed to buy it and I loved the results, having previously used the Drunk Elephant Baby Facial which is very pricey I was so impressed especially as it's a fraction of the price. I use this about once a week, for 10 minutes (no longer) and ensure I use SPF the day after (and every day to be honest). I will definitely continue to purchase this into 2021! Another skincare product I discovered at the start of the year is the Glow Recipe C-Bright Pineapple Vitamin C Serum. I've shouted about this product so many times throughout the year because I noticed such a difference in my skin. It was brighter, scars faded and my skin just looked so much healthier and clearer, it is pricey but I am absolutely obsessed with it!

I've been using Charlotte Tilbury products for years and heard people rave about the Flawless Filter but hadn't tried it. I decided to bite the bullet and purchase it, this is so lovely to wear either on its own or under your foundation. I find when I use it on its own, it makes me look so healthy and my skin glows while also giving a tiny bit of coverage to even my skin tone out. You can also use it on your cheekbones on top of makeup to give yourself an extra glow! When it comes to foundation, I have only tried a couple this year however I knew as soon as I saw Nars were releasing their Soft Matte Complete Foundation, I needed it. I waited patiently for the launch and bought it. With this foundation, a little goes such a long way and it has a flawless finish. It lasts really well, doesn't come off throughout the day and looks beautiful. If you want a glowy, luminous finish this isn't for you but if you want something that looks flawless but feels light on the skin, I'd definitely recommend.

Another new launch from Nars this year was the Afterglow Lip Balms, I bought the shade 'Fast Lane' but have my eye on a few others. These are lovely, I suffer massively from dry lips so these are my ideal lip product. It's basically a lip balm but adds a lovely colour to your lips too. They are pricey for what they are but I don't have another product like these in my collection. My final favourite is a product I bought very recently but I love it so much that I had to include it. As soon as I got the email from Cult Beauty to say The Vieve The Essential Palette was in stock, I bought it instantly and I do not regret it one bit. This is now my favourite eyeshadow consistency, they blend so beautifully and the colours in the palette are perfect. The pigmentation is top notch and overall it's just stunning!

What were your favourite products of 2020?

Georginahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15063178680034150165noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-80215966623209986.post-39632255908596560222020-11-18T09:42:00.011+00:002020-11-19T11:01:09.233+00:00The Ultimate Christmas Gift Guide

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">Christmas will be here before we know it, I feel like this year all the months have merged into one and now suddenly, it's Christmas. I've been trying to discover new brands this year while shopping for Christmas gifts for friends and family, especially small businesses that I can support. Other people's gift guides have really helped me to find brands to buy from, especially with the difficult year and the impact it has had for so many businesses. I thought I'd create a gift guide for those struggling to find presents for their loved ones or those who simply want to change it up a little from the usual.

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";"> The Small Business Gift Guide

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";"> I've done the majority of my Christmas shopping this year with small businesses. I think it's so important to support people who have made the leap to start their own business, for these people, each order they receive helps them out and really makes a difference to their lives.

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">Baker and Clay Clay and Gold Plated Earrings £12

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">Here's a little bit of self promotion. This year I started my own jewellery business, selling polymer clay and gold plated jewellery on Etsy. Struggling with the confinement of lockdown in the spring and feeling I wasn't being creative enough led me to start creating unique and quirky jewellery pieces. They vary in price from simple and sleek designs to eye-catching Christmas wreath earrings so there really is something for everyone.

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">LeBon Candles Bubble Candle £10

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">Since seeing people showing these stunning bubble candles on Tik Tok, I became obsessed with them. They're so unique and will be such a statement feature to any room or space. I'm definitely going to purchase these for a friend and I cannot wait for them to add it to their home. Choose the perfect colour for your home and the scent you adore and for just £10, it's yours!

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">PlantASmileCo Cute Mini Fox Planter £4.95

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">Another item I've purchased for someone is this adorable Fox planter. So many people have spent time during lockdown working on their interiors and creating a happy space to live in, especially as we've been spending so much time indoors this year! Growing and looking after plants has become so popular and these small planters are perfect for small plants to get you started. I know this would be perfect for me as someone who can just about look after a cactus!

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">Mila and Willow Studio Notepad £6.99

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">Stationery is such a great gift for a number of people, I bought this notepad for myself a few weeks ago because I needed a cute notepad for journaling and I've ended up buying it as a Christmas gift too. At the end of the day, who doesn't need a notepad? Perfect for shopping lists, making notes at work or writing your Christmas list!

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">CraftRicDesign Custom Song Plaque £6.32

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">Another idea I originally saw on Tik Tok were these custom song plaques. This would be perfect to give to your husband or wife with your first dance song on, to your mum with her favourite song or as a gift to yourself. I think they're such a lovely idea and a really personal and thoughtful gift for anyone.

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">Sophia Sunday Handmade Puff Sleeve Milkmaid Top £38

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">As well as purchasing from small businesses this year, I've also been trying to limit the amount of clothes that I purchase and to buy from more sustainable brands. Sophia Sunday sells clothes that she makes by hand which is incredible, as well as the fact that all her pieces are completely up my street. I love the idea of having clothing that isn't mass produced and lining the pockets of huge businesses but are supporting someone creating these beautiful pieces by hand.

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">The Beauty Gift Guide

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">Have

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">
<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">I've got slightly damaged hair which has got a lot worse over the past few months. It's meant that I've tried to purchase more products to improve the health of my hair and protect it from things like heat and colour damage. I'm not loyal to one particular shampoo, I try different ones every time from cheaper drugstore ones to much more expensive salon brands. While browsing Urban Outfitters one day, I found the Umberto Giannini Grow Long Shampoo. I'm automatically drawn to shampoos that claim they can make your hair grow quicker as I'm attempting to get long hair again so I threw this in my basket. It retails for just £8 which is very reasonable. Before using this shampoo I'd had a few bad experiences with shampoo, I tried one that caused my hair to get greasy very quickly, I believe due to product buildup and then after buying a clarifying shampoo to remove the build up, I dried my hair out very badly. This shampoo claims to cleanse hair, remove buildup and stimulate hair circulation with the main aim being to help hair to grow quicker. The first time I used this shampoo, I noticed a difference immediately. My hair, that had felt dry and damaged was suddenly feeling a lot healthier and had improved the dryness. It doesn't cause any product buildup like other shampoos and it also smells absolutely incredible. I'm not sure I can comment too much on it helping your hair to grow quicker, I have experienced my hair growing quickly however my hair does generally grow pretty speedily! I've just repurchased this and am so happy to have a super affordable shampoo that works for me. Until recently, I'd not really used hair masks, but because of the damage on my hair I decided to invest. I'd read some amazing reviews for the Moroccan Oil hair mask so picked it up. I use this no more than twice a week after shampooing, I leave on for about five minutes before washing it off. After washing it off, I am left with the softest hair ever, it's amazing. My hair feels so nourished and helps so much with the damage to my hair especially at the ends. The 250ml pot has lasted me about four months which I think is pretty good as it retails for £25 so I do feel like I'm getting my money's worth.
<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">Before blow drying my hair I've been adding the Moroccan Oil from root to tip. This again helps to make my hair feel incredible! It's infused with argan oil and shine-boosting vitamins to detangle your hair and boost shine to leave you with nourished, smooth hair. I originally bought the 25ml bottle which is quite small but did last me quite a long time considering I used it every time I blow dry my hair. I will definitely be investing in the larger bottle. In terms of styling my hair, the majority of the time I curl my hair. My favourite product to use after curling my hair is the Kristen Ess Beach Wave Spray, I spray this on after I curl my hair and then brush through it with a wide tooth comb to create beautiful natural waves. This wave spray smells incredible, I absolutely adore the scent and it makes my hair look super shiny while also helping to create the best curls that look really beautiful and natural.

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";"> <span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">Because I don't live near a lot of the big makeup counters, I buy a lot of my foundations online. This involves having to shade match myself to make sure I am purchasing the correct shade. I do a lot of research into foundation shades before I buy them online, mainly because I love high end foundations and don't want to end up wasting my money by just picking a shade really quickly. I thought I would share a few methods I use to ensure I am ordering the correct shade with the correct undertone.

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">
<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">First, it's important to find your undertone. The undertone of your skin is different to your skin tone, it refers to the hue of your skin whether that's warm, cool or neutral. Previously companies generally named or numbered their shades and didn't really label them with undertones. Nowadays more brands label their brands "warm" "neutral" or "cool which helps to identify which is best for you easily. There are a few ways to determine your undertone, if you look at the veins on your wrists, which colour are they in natural light? If they're more green then you're warm toned. If your veins are blue or purple, you're cool and if they're a mix of both the above, then you're more neutral. This really helps to find the right foundation for you, even if a foundation shade isn't listed as neutral, warm or cool, the brand will quite often write a short description which details the undertone.

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">A website I use all the time to find a shade match is Findation. Findation works by identifying shades of other brands that already work for you and choose the equivalent in the brand you're wanting to purchase. Once you're on the website, you choose foundations you already own and the shade you use, then select the foundation you are wanting to purchase. With this information, Findation works out which shade is the most similar to your current foundation. You can just enter one foundation you currently use but I find it works a lot better if you put at least a handful in to get a more accurate match. You can just use Findation to find the right shade however I also follow the next steps to make 100% sure I'm getting a shade that matches my skin exactly.

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">Once I've narrowed the potential shades down to a few which could work, I then do further checks to ensure I'm purchasing the right colour. Google is your friend massively, I simply search for swatches of foundation shades and I guarantee you will get loads from different people. Just search "Too Faced Born This Way Foundation Swatches" or whichever foundation you want to purchase and you will be faced with swatches of all shades. If you already think you know the shade you want, you can search for that exact shade. I search through a few photos as some people photograph them in different lighting so it's good to get a range. It's also worth noting that some people are really helpful and swatch foundations against other brands so in the same way as Findation, if you already know your shade in a Mac foundation for example, some people will swatch this against other foundation brands so you can see how similar they are. Another really handy tool is Youtube, some people do videos where they swatch every single shade so you can see on video format what each one looks like. I also try and find makeup tutorials of people with similar skin colour to me and look at what shade they're using or you can search for the foundation shade you think you are and see if that person has a skin colour like yours to see if you've picked the right one.

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">I do all of these steps before I buy a new foundation online, it may seem like a chore to spend an hour researching but it means that I don't end up looking ridiculous with a face a completely different colour to my neck and also I don't waste my money buying high end foundations, trying them out and then ending up with a product I can't use. If you have any other tips and tricks you use to work out your foundation shade then please share them in the comments!

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">I've recently found some staple products that I absolutely love using before bed, there's nothing better than waking up in the morning and seeing a noticeable difference in your skin. The Glamglow Good In Bed Night Cream has become such a firm favourite of mine that I have a stocked up on so I never run out. This is infused with exfoliating acids to smooth the skin and Passionfruit Oil and Hyaluronic Acid to plump and hydrate. This feels really nourishing on the skin when I apply it, it's got quite a thick consistency that requires a lot of working into the skin until it's fully soaked in but it leaves my skin feeling hydrated before bed. When I wake up in the morning, my skin feels more even, it looks healthier and it's so much more nourished. I was never very into night creams before because I didn't notice much of a difference in my skin when I woke up but with this, the difference is substantial and I recommend it to everyone. I quite often struggle to get to sleep and wake up frequently throughout the night, I've tried a few different pillow sleep sprays but none of them work for me like the This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray. This contains Lavender, Camomile and Vetivert to calm your body and mind and improve sleep quality. In their study, they found that 89% of people fell asleep faster than normal and 92% of users felt more refreshed in the morning. I spray this 2/3 times on my pillow before bed and wake up feeling so well rested in the morning, having woken up a lot less throughout the night than usual. Whenever I tell someone about this product, I feel like they think I'm bonkers. How can a spray help you sleep better? But it does work, I've repurchased this twice because it's the only pillow spray that has properly worked for me.

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">On nights when I don't use the Glamglow Good In Bed, I love using the Glow Recipe Pineapple-C Bright Serum with a couple of drops of the St Moriz Radiant Glow Tan Boosting Facial Serum to add some colour to my face. The Glow Recipe Serum has made such a difference to my skin, I usually use it in the morning but when I want to add some tan, I mix it with the tan boosting drops once or twice a week. It's a Vitamin C and AHA Serum which contains pineapple juice and hyaluronic acid, a key ingredient to help with the skin's hydration. It's great for skin that's dull, dry, has a lot of redness or is uneven in texture. This serum makes my skin look much more even, my scarring reduced and it made my skin glow, add the tan drops and my skin looks amazing! The St Moriz Tanning Drops are such an affordable alternative to the pricier products out there like the Tan Luxe Face Drops. They work in exactly the same way and provide the same results, for a fraction of the cost.

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display"; font-size: x-small;">I will openly admit that I tend to be a bit of a makeup snob. I love buying premium beauty and quite often overlook drugstore brands even though I do have some firm favourites. I hadn't tried a drugstore foundation for at least a year when I decided to pick up the Milani Conceal and Perfect Foundation. Foundation is the beauty item I purchase the most, whenever any new ones are released, I've bought them. I love trying them out and seeing how they work as I think your base is such a crucial part of your makeup and if you get it right then the rest of your makeup looks so much better. I'd heard some great things about this Milani foundation and found it one day in Boots, at £14.25 it's so much more affordable than the foundations I usually buy so decided it was worth giving a go. This has ended up being one of my favourite foundations, out of both the drugstore and high end ones I own. It has lovely coverage, medium but buildable while feeling light on the skin. It works really well on dry skin and also lasts throughout the day which is something I've struggled with recently with foundations. I've loved this so much that I've repurchased it to make sure I always have one! The Revolution Goddess of Love Highlighter is a product I've owned for years and while I love the Benefit Watt's Up and the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfectors, this is a product I always come back to and always love. I've bought other shades and also purchased for friends, making them as obsessed as I am with it. This retails for just £4.99 and is one of the most beautiful highlighters I've ever tried. It's not glittery at all, it's really finely milled and looks stunning on your cheekbones, bridge of your nose or brow bone. This is one of the most pigmented highlighters I've used and friends I've gifted it to also agree. For the price, it's a product you need to try.

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display"; font-size: x-small;">A recent purchase of mine is the St Moriz Radiant Glow Face Tan Drops. I bought this as a cheaper alternative to the Tan Luxe Tan Drops which is quite pricey. These are a great alternative, they're so much cheaper and I personally prefer them! I find that with 2/3 drops of these, I get a really noticeable tan on my face when I wake up the next morning compared to needing a few more drops with the Tan Luxe alternative to notice a difference. I use this product on my face as regular tan doesn't work on my face due to clogging my pores so if like me you need to use an actual face tanner, then definitely have a look at these. Another newer purchase of mine is the Elf Flawless Concealer, I bought this after being recommended it and have loved using it. It's got lovely coverage and the consistency works well on my skin. I occasionally struggle with concealers setting too much and therefore being dry and looking cakey on my skin however this one doesn't do that at all. My final drugstore favourite is from NYX. I've adored NYX for years, I love their lip products, their eyeshadows and their brow products. My favourite overall product is the Soft Matte Lip Cream. I own so many of these, they're basically liquid lipsticks that set into a matte finish. They set very matte on the lip but they don't feel drying or uncomfortable on the lips, they last a really long time (although not all day) without being touched up.

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">I've been trying to prevent myself from spending money on makeup I don't need recently, my collection is overflowing and I definitely don't need any more products. However because I've not been buying things, it means that my wishlist keeps growing and growing and with my birthday coming up, I've definitely mentioned a few of these items to people. I've heard consistently amazing things about the Hourlass Vanish Foundation. Stick foundations are not my typical go to as I prefer a liquid but I'm really intrigued by this, it's full coverage but undetectable and waterproof. It is very pricey however which is why I've held off purchasing it for the moment. At the top of my wishlist is the Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter, this goes underneath your foundation to add a glow to your skin. I've heard so many people rave about this on Instagram, glowy skin is currently my favourite look so I really need to pick this up!

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">I've been using the Moroccan Oil Intense Hydrating Mask for a few months now, I had lots of issues with my hair being dry which caused breakages. I started using this and it made such a different to the health of my hair, I've almost used it up and at £25 a tub, it is a little pricey but 100% worth it so another investment is well needed. The Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Light Wand is a product I've used religiously for about a year and a half, however they've recently launched some new Pillow Talk shades that look stunning. I love the highlighters, I recommend them to everyone so I'm definitely going to pick up a few more shades of the pink toned liquid blushers.

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">For years I've heard people rave about the Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye Mascara, it's definitely a cult favourite and a product that's been on my list to try out for a while. I'm currently in the market for a new mascara so I think I'll definitely give this a go! As well as wanting a mascara, I also want some new lashes as I wear them quite a lot to add some volume to my sparse lashes. I found out recently that Charlotte Tilbury sells false lashes which I never realised, some are super natural and others are glam while not being over the top. I really want to try the Hollywood Glamour Lashes, they look so beautiful, fluttery and classy.

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">There's two newly released palettes that are on my wishlist and one has been added to my Birthday list so fingers crossed! The Too Faced Born This Way The Natural Nudes Palette is such a typical me palette, I love a good old nude palette and the swatches of this one look beautiful. There's such a lovely mix of nude and shimmery shades with some pink tones and warm browns that I think would work on most skin tones. The second palette I've been drooling over is the Nars Afterglow Palette, this is a limited edition palette and it's so different to any other palette I currently own. The bright magenta shade looks stunning and I'm so intrigued to see how this looks on the eye. This is a very pricey palette at £56 so it's one I'm going to think about for a little longer.

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">Do you have any products currently on your wishlist?
<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display"; font-size: xx-small;"> Glow Recipe Pineapple-C Bright Serum £46
<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">Before purchasing this, I had only tried one product from Glow Recipe but I've listened to so many podcasts and interviews with the founders which left me really curious about trying more. Last month Cult Beauty held a pop up event with Glow Recipe in London which I decided to check out. I received a full size version of their Avocado Sleeping Mask and decided to purchase the Pineapple-C Bright Serum even though I hadn't really heard much about it or looked at any reviews. This is a Vitamin C serum, I've tried two other Vitamin C serums, the Drunk Elephant C Firma and The Inkey List Vitamin C Serum. However despite hearing so much hype about the effects of Vitamin C serums, I really didn't notice any difference in my skin after using these products which was especially disappointing for the Drunk Elephant Vitamin C Serum as it is very pricey and needs to be used up fairly quickly.

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">This serum has three potent forms of antioxidant-rich vitamin C including 22% Pineapple Juice, Ascorbic Avid and stable 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid which helps to combat acne scars and hyperpigmentation. The Pineapple Juice is said to help to gently exfoliate skin for a clearer and smoother face while Chamomile and Aloe ensure the skin stays refreshed. Hyaluronic Acid hydrates and plumps the skin which they claim leaves skin dewy, smoother and rejuvenated.

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">I was really skeptical when I first purchased this, their products are centered around fruit and veg with the Watermelon Sleeping Mask and Avocado Mask being two of their most popular products so I was wary that they could be gimmicky and questioned whether they could really work. However I am SO impressed with this product and have been obsessed with using it because of the difference it has made to my skin in such a short period of time. I started using this both in the morning and the evening, on some days I do just use it in the morning before I apply my moisturiser and ocassionally also at night mixed with the St Moriz Tanning Drops. I noticed a difference in my skin so quickly, I couldn't put my finger on exactly what had changed. My skin looked more even, my scarring from spots was fading and my skin felt a lot more hydrated. I haven't had dry patches on my skin since using this, it feels really plump and healthy looking which I've not experienced in such a long time. The results I've got from this are what I was hoping to achieve from the Drunk Elephant C-Firma but just didn't get. I read some reviews after I purchased it, just to see what other people were saying. It had really positive reviews and most of the negative reviews were mentioning the smell, saying it was bad and therefore they weren't able to continue using the product. This does smell of pineapple juice, quite strongly. It personally hasn't bothered me, it just smells fruity however to some people it could really put them off. When I used the Drunk Elephant C-Firma, it had a really faint smell but it was one that I could still smell once I'd put my moisturiser and foundation on and did bother me slightly so the pineapple smell is not something that has put me off.
<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">It's definitely worth noting that this product is pricey, it's cheaper than the Drunk Elephant C-Firma however only marginally. It retails for £46 which is on the higher end and for a lot of people this just isn't feasible for a serum, especially considering you cannot keep Vitamin C serums for a long period of time. Generally if you don't refrigerate your serum, you should use it within three months and if you do refrigerate you should use within 5 months. Therefore it is a large chunk of money to be spending every 3/5 months, however I think if I'm in a position to spend this, then I absolutely will. I've not used a Vitamin C Serum that's had this effect on my skin and I'm completely obsessed. If this is too much money for you then maybe try The Inkey List version to see if it does work for you or try The Ordinary's version as these could still be effective for your skin at a fraction of the cost.
<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">I've been loving so many new products lately, mainly because I clearly can't be trusted with my bank card and keep spending! These products are such a nice mix of low end and higher end which is great as I sometimes neglect lower end products but I have been on a few visits to Boots and Superdrug to try some things out. I've recently rediscovered the Benefit Watt's Up, I remember absolutely loving this when I first purchased it but it got shoved to the back of my drawer when I purchased numerous other highlighters. I recently dug it out again and I'm once again obsessed. I like that this product is inbetween a powder and a liquid highlighter so it applies really nicely on the skin. It doesn't rub my foundation off or cause it to separate and it gives the most beautiful glow to the skin. I either apply it using my fingers or with a brush and both work really well, it does come with a sponge applicator on the other end which I don't find useful at all! Another cheek product I've been enjoying is the Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge, I have two shades of this, Pink Powder and Calypso Coral. You can use these on your cheeks as well as on your lips so they're an amazing multi-purpose product if you need to pack light! I find Pink Powder a great subtle everyday shade that just adds a beautiful healthy glow to my skin. I apply it using a small stippling brush, starting with a tiny bit of product and building it up if I need to. However it's also really easy to use with your fingers to dab some colour onto your cheeks and lips so brilliant to have in your handbag for on the go. I've adored Charlotte Tilbury lip products for so long, they're the most beautiful colours and they apply like a dream so I was ecstatic to get one as my Secret Santa gift! This is the shade Hepburn Honey, I mainly own pink shades so it's really nice to add a brown nude to my collection. It's really wearable and subtle so I keep it in my handbag to wear as a daily lipstick if I feel I want to wear something while keeping it fairly natural looking. Other shades I adore are 'Penelope Pink' and 'Liv It Up.'

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">I've spoken about the Milani Conceal & Perfect Foundation in a previous post. I discovered this at the end of last year and I just adore it, especially the price! This just makes my skin look amazing, it's medium coverage but buildable and it works so well on my skin to last all day. It also photographs beautifully, even with flash photography. If you find yourself in Boots, I'd definitely recommend trying it out, it's by far my favourite drugstore foundation and potentially my favourite overall foundation. Elf's a brand I've not tried before, a friend said she loved their Flawless Concealer and for £5, I couldn't go wrong. This is lovely for under the eyes and on blemishes, it's not super full coverage but it still covers exactly what I need it to. The consistency is lovely, I find Tarte concealers too sticky and other concealers too thick and drying under the eye but this is so easy to blend and sits so well on the skin. In previous posts I mentioned the Tan Luxe Face Tan Drops and how much I was loving it, while in Superdrug I came across the St Moriz Radiant Glow Serum. This is basically the same kind of product but for a fraction of the price. In fact, I find this makes more of a difference in terms of my skin colour when I wake up. I mix this in with my vitamin c serum at night, using 2-3 drops and I wake up with a beautifully bronzed face. I don't find much different between this and the Tan Luxe (apart from the St Moriz making more of a difference colour wise when using less product) so would recommend you save your money and just pick this up! It's also going to last me absolutely ages as I use it about every 3 days.

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">For me, Fenty Beauty has been such an impressive brand since it was first released. I think it's rare for celebrity makeup brands to actually be taken seriously rather than just be seen as a collection of products that someone has plastered their name over. I'm generally very skeptical about celebrity releases, I've not bought anything from Kylie Beauty or KKW Beauty as I don't really get the hype and I was initially the same with Fenty, that was until I researched, watched videos and read reviews. They originally launched with a few products, one of which was their Pro Filt'r Foundation, of course as soon as someone mentions the words "full coverage" I immediately pay attention. This was such a game changer for the beauty industry, a range created by a celebrity that actually catered for every skintone. For years there's been one or two shades for women with darker skin, leaving them with little choice compared to white women who are always catered for. Fenty completely changed the game and now numerous brands have followed, creating more diverse shade ranges to cater for the whole of their audience. It's a shame that there's still brands that haven't woken up and realised the need for inclusion however I feel like Fenty really made a difference within the beauty industry to allow everyone to try their products. <span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">I tried the original Pro Filt'r Foundation when it came out, you can read my full review here. However I've tried a few more of their products recently and am definitely going to be purchasing more. I was so excited when they announced they were launching a hydrating version of their original foundation, the Pro Filt'r Hydrating Longwear Foundation. This claims to be hydrating, medium to full coverage and longwearing which really excited me as I can get quite dry skin and need something that is going to hydrate and not cling to dry patches on my skin. I really like the consistency of this foundation, it is really hydrating and I love how it applied to my skin, personally I would say it's medium coverage as it definitely didn't cover as much as other foundations I've tried however it still gives really decent coverage. However I don't find it particularly longwearing on the skin, I do find that it comes of slightly throughout the day and if I wanted to wear it for really long periods of time then I would need to reapply. I think overall I would give this foundation a 7/10, I love the consistency on my skin and the coverage is great while looking natural and feeling lightweight however it doesn't last as long as I would like it to. <span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">My well loved Laura Mercier Translucent Powder was running out recently so I decided to try out the Pro Filt'r Instant Retouch Setting Powder as I'd heard good things about it. I bought the shade Banana which is a yellow coloured powder, in hindsight I think I should have got the shade lighter but I can still make it work! When I first started using this, I used it to bake my makeup which didn't work too well. I found that the product clung to my skin so when I went to brush the product away, it had stuck to sections of my under eye. I've been using it for the past week or so with a powder brush and just pressing it into my skin. It gives a really nice finish, it's very matte and makes my skin look very airbrushed, hiding pores completely. This has definitely been a better way of applying it and I'm really impressed! <span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">My favourite product for my brows is the Anastasia Brow Wiz, I'm not sure how this makes my brows look great but it just does. I ran out of it recently and also had some Boots points so decided to give the Fenty MVP Ultra Fine Brow Pencil a go. The first thing I like about this product is the brush you get with it, it's like nothing I've tried before. It's literally like a brush rather than a spoolie and I find it so much easier to brush my brows with then the usual spoolie you get with brow pencils. The actual pencil is super fine and thin meaning you can get a precise brow and imitate real brow hairs which I love however it just isn't as good as the Anastasia Brow Wiz. I find the product a lot harder than the Brow Wiz so it takes a lot more time and effort to fill in my brows whereas the Brow Wiz is softer and applies really easily. I think I will repurchase my Anastasia Brow Wiz rather than this but this is a slighty cheaper alternative so worth giving a go!
<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">
<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">I've tried some terrible liquid liners lately, they've not been pigmented and have transfered or rubbed off throughout the day which has been really frustrating. I'd heard people rave about the Fenty Flyliner Liquid Liner and the bad reviews mainly consisted of people complaining that it wouldn't come off which is a good thing in my eyes! I've been loving this, it's really pigmented, the brush is super precise if you're doing winged eyeliner and it stays put literally all day (it is a struggle to get off)! This is slightly on the pricey side but retails at the same price as my other favourite liner, the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner so I think I would purchase this again as it's brilliant! My final purchase from Fenty is the Gloss Bomb which is one of their lipglosses, I bought the shade Fussy which is a beautiful pink shimmery shade. I love wearing this on its own or over the top of pink lipsticks, it's absolutely beautiful and smells incredible too. This is quite expensive and I believe there are cheaper alternatives which work in the same way but it was a lovely product to treat myself to!

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">Overall, my favourite products from Fenty are the Flyliner, the Gloss Bomb and the powder. There's not been anything I've really disliked which is quite impressive and I'm really excited to purchase some more items! I've got my eye on the highlighters so I think they'll be next on my list! Have you tried anything from Fenty that you'd recommend?

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">I've ended up purchasing a few new products recently that I've ended up loving, along with an old favourite that I rediscovered my love for. I found myself in my local Boots a few weeks ago, I hadn't been there in ages and they'd added a few more brands to the beauty area. My local Boots is unfortunately tiny so doesn't have the array of brands that the bigger stores have but they've definitely upped their game. I noticed they had a Milani stand, I'd heard of this brand mainly from their Conceal + Perfect Foundation so I decided to give it a go and see what I thought, seeing as I have tried every other foundation in the world. I am absolutely obsessed with this product, it's mid-range in terms of price for the drugstore at £14 so it's not the cheapest but it's also a lot cheaper than the high end foundations I usually buy. This has such nice coverage, it's medium but can be built to full coverage. It lasts so well throughout the day and sits really nicely on my dry skin, it honestly makes my it look so healthy and flawless. It's marketed as a concealer and foundation in one, personally I still use concealer however if you don't have redness and dark circles, you could probably get away with just using this without concealer. If you're looking for a new foundation and don't want to break the bank then definitely give this a go!
<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">I've spoken before about not using normal fake tan on my face due to having a reaction to it, due to this I decided to purchase the Tan Luxe Face Tan after hearing rave reviews and I'm obsessed. I use this at night, adding a couple of drops to my night cream and when I wake up in the morning I look like I've been on holiday. My skin has a lovely natural tan and matches my body tan perfectly, I've also had no issues with reacting or having breakouts. They sell a smaller travel version which I purchased to try it out but I will definitely be investing in the larger size one I've finished the travel size.
<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">Lately I've been wearing lipsticks a lot more and decided to try out the Mac Liptensity in Clouds in my Coffee. I've only ever tried the standard Mac lipsticks but this Liptensity range is so moisturising on the lips and easy to wear. I was worried this shade would be too dark for me as in the tube it does look like it would be better suited to darker skintones to mine but it's a beautiful every day nude lip that really suits me. I'm definitely going to purchase more of the Liptensity shades as they're so easy to apply and don't dry lips out.

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">I've spoken about my love for Becca highlighters many times, I own the shades Pearl and Opal which I adore and are part of my daily makeup routine. I recently bought a gift set where you received a mini Champagne Pop, I was thrilled as I'd wanted to try this for ages but really couldn't justify another highlighter! This is probably the most talked about and hyped up shade and I can see why, it's beautiful! It's quite similar to Opal but obviously more champagne coloured. I've been wearing this everyday since I bought it, I love all the Becca highlighters I own however if you were looking to try just one, I'd recommend you go for either Champagne Pop or Opal.

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">My final favourite is a product I've owned for a few years, the Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb perfume. I remember as a young teenager I would go into Debenhams and spray this perfume and dream about owning it. It was more expensive than I could afford so I always said I'd buy it one day when I was older and had to money. I ended up being sent it by a PR a few years ago and being so excited that I finally owned it and I've repurchased it myself ever since. This fragrance is beautiful, I'm not a huge fan of extremely floral fragrances but this is the right amount of floral. It's subtle yet girly and not an offensive smell at all. I will continue to purchase this for years and also think it makes the most beautiful gift as the bottle looks amazing on any dressing table!
<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">What are your current favourite products?

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">I first tried Charlotte Tilbury products about six years ago when I was at university, the brand was quite new but there was still so much hype around the products because of how well known Charlotte was as a makeup artist. I bought a few of her staple products to start with and over the years have kept adding products to my vast makeup collection, there's a few that have become firm favourites and regulars in my makeup collection.
<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">I did a full post on the Airbrush Flawless Foundation a few weeks ago, I spoke about how much I was loving using it and that it has become my everyday foundation. It's one of the most full coverage foundations I've tried, it covers everything and makes my skin look absolutely perfect. I find it lasts so well throughout the day without me having to reapply power or touch up while also not accentuating dry patches on the skin. If you want to read my full review, click here. Another base product I've tried from Charlotte Tilbury is the Magic Away Concealer, I've also written a full blog post reviewing this. I really enjoyed using this concealer, it wasn't the most high coverage product so when I have really angry red spots, it doesn't full cover them however when I used it under my eyes, it really brightened the area. It did such a great job of hiding under eye circles and making me look so much more awake. The only negative of this product is the applicator, it's a sponge-like applicator and I don't feel like it's the most hygenic way to apply a product, especially if you're using it on spots.

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">Charlotte's lip products are some of my all time favourites, I've tried three different types and I'm obsessed with all of them. The first lipstick I bought was her K.I.S.S.I.N.G lipstick in the shade Penelope Pink. This is such a beautiful pink nude shade and the consistency of the lipstick is incredible, it's so easy to apply, buttery and almost melts onto your lips. This is constantly in my handbag because it's such a great one to have on hand as a simple yet beautiful every day lipstick. More recently I bought the Hot Lips Lipstick in the shade Liv It Up, I wanted something a little bit darker than Penelope Pink but still something I would be able to wear everyday. The consistency of this is less moisturising and buttery than the K.I.S.S.I.N.G lipsticks but it still applies really nicely on the lips and isn't too matte and drying. Both of these lipsticks aren't particularly long lasting however this isn't something that bothers me too much as I tend to carry them in my handbag and reapply throughout the day. Another lipstick variation is the Hollywood Lips which I have in the shade Rising Star, this is a lovely liquid lipstick that's different to the ones I've tried before. Most really dry down on the lips in order to be long lasting whereas this feels really comfortable on the lips throughout the day. It doesn't last quite as long as other liquid lipsticks I've tried but that doesn't bother me too much when I'm wearing a product that feels more comfortable on the lips.
<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">Another recent purchase was the Cheek to Chic Blusher in Pillow Talk. Lately I've been loving using blushers as I feel they make such a difference to my face when I wear them, I look healthier and a lot more glowy. This blusher is a two tone blusher with a dusky pink shade around the outside and a more champagne colour on the inside. You can wear the pink shade as a blusher and the centre shade as more of a highlight or you do what I do and swirl the product together on a brush and apply to the apply of the cheeks. I just love how glowy and healthy I look when I'm wearing this product and would love to try some of the other shades too. This product retails for £30 which I do think is very steep for a blusher, if you wanted to ask for this as a Christmas or Birthday gift then it would be a nice treat but I do also think there are cheaper alternatives out there that are similar. My favourite all time product from Charlotte Tilbury is the Beauty Light Wand, this is a gorgeous liquid highlight in a shade that suits my skintone so beautifully. You need the tiniest amount of product so I do think that while it's steep in price, it does last a really long time. I apply it mainly to my cheekbones and occasionally on the centre of my nose and my brow bone if I really want to add some extra glow to my skin. They recently came out with a darker contour shade and a pinky shade of this which look equally as beautiful and I would absolutely love to try out.

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">Overall there's not been a Charlotte Tilbury product that I've hated, I think the whole brand just screams 'Victoria Secret Model' with everything creating a really beautiful and glowy makeup look. There are some products that I might not repurchase regularly, like the Cheek to Chic Blusher because I think you can get amazing blushers in the drugstore and this isn't anything groundbreaking. However some of the products will be consistently repurchased, the K.I.S.S.I.N.G lipstick is the nicest lipstick consistency I've ever tried and the Beauty Light Wand makes my skin glow like no other product. I will definitely continue to add to my collection and be curious about what she's going to release next!
<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">Have you tried any Charlotte Tilbury products and do you have any favourites?
<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">I've always had temperamental skin, it's acne prone, sensitive and often scars easily. I also react to a lot of skincare products frequently so it's rare that I'm happy with my routine as I love trying new products however my skin has been behaving itself lately and I'm happy with my current routine. To remove my makeup I've been using a Face Halo, I'm obsessed with it as it makes taking my makeup off so easy. You just run the Face Halo under warm water and gently use it across your face in circular motions to remove all makeup, I'm slightly baffled how these work as they remove pretty much all my makeup using just water. After I've removed my makeup, I cleanse with the Clinique Take The Day Off Balm to ensure I've got rid of all my mascara and anything else the Face Halo missed. I like this cleansing balm as it's unscented which means it's less likely to react with my skin, I want to try the Emma Hardie Cleansing Balm however I'm wary to spend that much money on a product that could break me out. The Clinique Cleansing Balm is a no frills product, it does the job and removes my makeup but it doesn't do anything spectacular. I then use the Eve Lom Cleanser on my skin, I've always loved and regularly purchased the Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser but I had another Eve Lom Cleanser that I had received as a gift so I've been using that regularly recently and really enjoyed it again. It is much thicker than the Glossier Cleanser and feels almost like a really thick balm so I definitely feel that using this and the Clinique Balm means every single bit of makeup is removed.

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">When it comes to face masks, I've been using two. The Eve Lom Rescue Mask is a firm favourite, whenever I have skin issues and bad breakouts, I love to use this as it completely sorts out my skin. It's slightly on the pricey side so a really great alternative is the Mario Badescu Flower and Tonic Mask which I've also been loving if I've got a breakout. I don't think you need both of these so it depends which is more in your budget. In the evening before bed I've been loving using the Glamglow Good In Bed night cream and I mix in the Tax Luxe The Face Illuminating Drops. Every morning I wake up with such soft skin and have noticed a difference in my skin since using this night cream, it is quite expensive but it's been the best night cream I've tried. I can't use normal fake tan on my face as I generally react to it so I've recently purchased the Tan Luxe Drops to use on my face to give it a bit of colour. I bought the light/medium version so it doesn't make a huge difference to the skin but it adds a really natural glow and luckily I’ve not had any problems reacting to it. Before my makeup in the morning I've been using the Origins Ginzing Moisturiser, I have tried a lot of Origins products in the past and love them. This moisturiser smells amazing and gives my skin the hydration it definitely needs, if you have dry skin this is such a lovely product.

However I'd never tried one of her foundations before, they were always too light in coverage and natural for me so I steered clear however I was so excited when I heard that she was bringing out a full coverage foundation and the day after it came out, I had purchased it.

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">The brand claim that this has a natural matte finish, I would agree with this as I find that while it does predominantly look matte it doesn't make my skin look too matte and the skin still has a slight glow to it. The coverage is definitely full, personally I find this much more full coverage compared to Estee Lauder Double Wear. It covers absolutely brilliantly, my redness and blemishes are covered so easily and my skintone is evened out. You barely need a pump of product to cover your whole face as it's so brilliantly pigmented, it doesn't feel heavy on the skin however I think if you did apply more than a pump it may start to look a little bit cakey and feel heavy. The brand also claim it gives a "flawless, poreless-looking finish." I do find that my skin looks flawless when I'm wearing it, I do have quite noticeable pores and this just smooths everything out beautifully, making them unnoticeable. I definitely agree that this product stays all day which is something I really struggle with when it comes to foundations. This stays put throughout the day, I don't have a very strenuous job but I find with most foundations that by the time I get home they've started to come of or look a little shiny however this lasts so well throughout the whole day and I don't need to re-powder at all. Another claim provided by the brand is that it contains an ingredient called Magic Replexium which reduces the appearance of wrinkles by up to 22% after 8 weeks use. I personally can't comment on this claim as I'm lucky enough to not have wrinkles yet but I'd be very intrigued to know how this works on an older skin.

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">Like all Charlotte Tilbury packaging, this feels very luxurious and expensive (which is should do for the price!). I love the frosted glass bottle and the gold lid is beautiful, it looks lovely on my dressing table. The foundation also comes with a pump which is really handy and ensures you get exactly the right amount of product, I usually apply just under a full pump for my entire face and it covers perfectly. The foundation comes in 44 different shades which is a great range, I love that more brands are realising that it essential to provide a shade to suit everyone.

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">Overall, I've been absolutely loving this foundation. If you're someone who doesn't like full coverage foundations then you probably won't like this as it really does give a porcelain doll finish to the skin and if you prefer something natural then I would steer clear. However if full coverage foundations are your thing then I would definitely recommend you give this a go as I've been thoroughly impressed with it.

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">You can purchase it here and if you do give it a go, let me know!

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">
<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">I've had a *few* spending splurges recently and have therefore acquired some new favourite products. Perfumes are one of the items I love to purchase and I own a fair few, I was trying to use my old ones up before I buy any new ones but I tested the Tom Ford Noir Extreme perfume and fell in love instantly. This is a perfume that could be unisex and is a deeper, more masculine scent which I like to use on days where I don't want really floral and girly scents. It has top notes of Mandarin, Neroli, Saffron, Nutmeg and Cardamon while the base notes are more earthy and consist of Amber, Sandalwood and Vanilla. I bought the travel size so I could try it out but I think I definitely would invest in the full size version. For my brows, I've been testing a few different products but I decided to pick up the Estee Lauder MicroPrecise Brow Pencil and I've been obsessed with it. I love how precise and small the nib is, it is perfect for creating lines that resemble real brow hairs, it also comes with a spoolie on one end too which is really handy! I find you can create dramatic brows that make a statement but you can also just add a little bit of definition to the brow for a natural look if that's what you prefer.
<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">When I was about 17, I was obsessed with Mac lipsticks. I collected so many of them and owned about 30 different shades of nude. Recently I've purchased quite a few more and of course, most of them are nude shades. Shrimpton and Honeylove have been my go to shades that I've been keeping in my handbag for everyday wearing. They're slightly peachy nudes which suit my complexion and colouring and I feel like they'd both suit an array of different skin tones. I can't wear really light nude shades anymore as they just make me look washed out so these are a great nude lip alternative. I wear eyeliner everyday, either liquid liner or gel liner as it makes my eyelashes look so much thicker and I use winged eyeliner if I want to instantly look more put together. I decided to try out the Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner as I'd heard so many great things about it and it definitely lives up to the hype. The consistency is really soft and creamy which I find super easy to apply with an angled makeup brush, I also find it works really well for winged eyeliner which can usually be quite tricky to apply with gel liner however with this, it's a dream.
<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">My final current favourite is the Estee Lauder Double Wear Mascara. I really struggle with mascaras as I have such straight lashes and can never find one that actually makes a difference to them, without making them super clumpy. This wand doesn't hold too much product so my lashes are really separated and lengthened without being clumpy and stuck together, I've been really loving using it. If you like a dramatic mascara that gives a lot of volume, this probably isn't going to be for you. I personally wear false lashes most days so I'm not too bothered about volume but I like it to add some length and curl.
<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">Do you have any current favourites?

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">I had wanted to try Drunk Elephant for such a long time, when I went to America I decided to purchase the T.L.C Sukari Baby Facial. I'd done some research to find out more which left me intrigued about the product, it's also not currently available in the UK so I thought it would be a good one to try as I wouldn't have another opportunity to purchase it again for quite a while.

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">To summarise the claims that Drunk Elephant make: Babyfacial is an AHA/BHA facial which resurfaces to reveal an improved skin texture and a more youthful radiance. It gently exfoliates the pore lining and gets rid of dead skin cells. It contains 25% AHA and glycol, tartaric, lactic, citric and salicylic acids. It is formulated with chickpea flour, pumpkin ferment and a soothing blend of matchatea, milk thistle and apple.

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">I'm going to start with the packaging, I love how they've designed all the Drunk Elephant products. The packaging is really simple but each product can be differentiated by the bright coloured lid and they look really aesthetically pleasing in my bathroom. Babyfacial comes with a pretty pink lid with a pump for distributing the product, it's easy to pump out product and unlike some skincare product I've tried, it doesn't dispense way too much product. I use this around once a week, I apply a thin layer all over my face and leave on for 20/30 minutes. I have really sensitive skin and when I was researching this product I was worried that my skin would react and I would end up with a really red face (Samantha after her chemical peel in Sex and The City?) as some people had said it was too strong for their skin. It can tingle on your face and I think it varies between for different people, for me I experience hardly any tingling at all. If I have a sensitive patch of skin, it might tingle but generally I can have it on with no feeling whatsoever. I would definitely recommend you do not use this if you have any cuts or sore spots on your face, I had a cut on my finger and while applying it to my face I experienced such bad stinging!

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">

<span style="color: #666666; font-family: "playfair display";">Once I've had the product on for 20/30 minutes, I just wash it off. The main difference I've noticed is how soft my skin is after using this product, it feels absolutely amazing. After a few uses, I did feel it helped with the blackheads around my nose and reducing them slightly. It definitely doesn't get rid of them but they look a lot less noticeable. The morning after, my skin looks more radiant and I find it a lot easier to apply my foundation as my skin is baby soft. This product retails for $80 which is a lot of money to spend on a skincare product in my opinion, I do really enjoy this product but I'm not 100% sure if I would repurchase due to the price. I have heard that The Ordinary do a very similar product called the 'AHA/BHA Peeling Solution' so I would be tempted to give that a try before repurchasing this. If you have the money to splurge on this then I would recommend giving it a try, it does make my skin feel the softest it has ever been however if you're trying to save, I've heard really great things about The Ordinary's equivalent and for the price, it's worth testing out.

<span style="color: #555555; font-family: "playfair display";">I head to US next week and of course, as with any place I go to, I will be doing a fair amount of shopping while I'm there. The last time I went to the US was about 6 years ago and since then, most beauty brands have now been brought over to places like Beauty Bay and Cult Beauty so the majority of cult products are available within easy reach. There are a few items I've wanted to get hold of because we can't try here or because they're cheaper across the pond.

<span style="color: #555555; font-family: "playfair display";">

<span style="color: #555555; font-family: "playfair display";">I believe Milk Makeup has launched on Cult Beauty this week. To be honest, it's not a brand I've been that aware of but after doing some research I have come across loads of people raving about their products. Foundation is one of my favourite beauty products, I wear it every day and have always been completely obsessed with trying new ones so the Milk Makeup Blur Liquid is on my wishlist to give a go. Drunk Elephant recently came to the UK and there is so much hype around it, I've not made a purchase yet as I feel like major research needs to be done before I part with that much money however I am so intrigued by the Baby Facial. It's won awards like the Allure Best of Beauty and In The Style's Best Beauty Buys so it's definitely making waves in the beauty industry. It's an AHA/BHA facial which resurfaces your skin to improve its texture to give you a glow. My skin has recently completely cleared up but I still have dull skin so I'm really excited to give this a go.

<span style="font-family: "playfair display";">The Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask is a product I've actually heard very little about but any kind of product which contains the words 'glow' sounds okay to me. I love using overnight hydrating masks and this just sounds so luxurious for the skin, I'm definitely going to read a few more reviews on it but I will probably still end up buying it. For some reason recently, I've become obsessed with false lashes and have been wearing them every day. I have stick straight lashes that do not hold a curl so lashes give me the drama I really need. I've read a few good things about the Sephora Luxe False Lashes and because they're so affordable, I'm going to pick one or two (or three) pairs up. I've also heard good things about the Sephora Face Masks and as I'm in the US on my own, I think I'm going to spend a few evenings in my hotel room watching chic flicks and treating my skin to some love!

<span style="font-family: "playfair display";">Recently, I listened to a podcast with the founder of Fresh Beauty and decided to have a look at their products. I'm running out of my Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser (the best cleanser I've ever tried FYI) and am intrigued to try their Soy Face Cleanser. I've recently realised they do actually stock their products in the UK too! Sticking with skincare, Jamie Genevieve mentioned the Ole Henriksen Glow2Oh Dark Spot Toner on her Instagram and her skin has been looking incredible recently so it's been at the back of my mind for a while. I don't have dark spots but I do have some scarring on my cheeks which I'm trying to fade so I'm really interested to see how I get on with it. I will probably go to drugstores too while I'm over there, when I was researching drugstore products, the one that came up again and again was the Physicians Formula Bronzers. Apparently these are incredible and really affordable too, I've seen they do highlighters as well so will definitely check those out too.

<span style="font-family: "playfair display";">The product that's been on my wishlist the longest is the Tarte Shape Tape Concealer. You can get this at QVC in the UK but I'm not really sure which shade to get so I thought I'd wait until I can test it out properly at Ulta. I'm so excited to try this out as I'm running out of the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Away Concealer which I've been using for the past few months. Flower Beauty is the range created by Drew Barrymore, it's really affordable and I've seen a few people try their products. I of course really want to try the foundation to see what it's like. I'm absolutely dying to try the Beauty Bakerie Foundation, I believe you can only buy it online which is frustrating but I also want to give their loose powder a go. Hopefully I'll be able to get the foundation soon once I work out which shade I'd be! The final product I want, is the Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist. This is loved by celebrities and is their secret to creating a gorgeous healthy glow on the skin. Tatcha is a brand I heard everywhere so I may also do research into which products are worth buying from them.

<span style="background-color: white; color: #555555; font-family: "playfair display"; font-size: 11.6667px;">For some reason, I've been wearing my makeup a lot more natural lately. I'm not sure if it's me finally becoming more comfortable without a ton of makeup on my face or the fact I've realised I can spend a lot more time in bed in the morning if I spend half the time on my makeup. I still love more full coverage foundations and I don't think that's going to change anytime soon. I have been trying out the Beauty Blender Bounce Foundation for a little while now, I've written a full blog post on it, which you can read here. The packaging is a real gripe with me, I don't like it at all, I find it bulky and also quite messy to use, especially if you're travelling anywhere. Coverage wise it's fairly nice and covers well, I explained in my full review that it's not the most full coverage foundation I've tried but if you're looking for one that evens out your skin and will hide most of your blemishes then it's a pretty good option. The concealer I've been using every day since I bought it is the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Away Concealer, it's really moisturising and perfect for brightening up your under eye area. It's not got great coverage so if your goal is to really hide red angry spots then this probably isn't suited to that need but for smaller blemishes and under the eye, it's perfect! I've been coming to the end of the YSL Souffle Loose Powder, this is a nice powder and you get a lot of product for your money. I'm not sure if I'm going to repurchase this as it hasn't blown me away and the price is fairly high but it's one that's not caused me any issues. To add a glow to my skin, I bought the Becca Pressed Highlighter in Opal, I'd seen quite a few swatches of this and it looked incredible so I picked it up. I've tried this product in the shade Pearl which is almost a white highlighter, this is much more golden and adds a healthy glow to the skin that can be light and subtle or much heavier and more dramatic.

<span style="color: #555555; font-family: "playfair display";">For brows, I've been alternating between two products, the Anastasia Brow Wiz and the Benefit Precisely My Brow Pencil. Both these are fairly similar which is why I've enjoyed using both of them. I think the Precisely My Brow Pencil is a lot softer so I tend to use this very lightly to get a more natural finish whereas the Brow Wiz is easy to get a natural finish. My only criticism of both products, although this applies more to Precisely My Brow is that they run out so quickly and I feel like I'm buying them every week! For the past few months, I've discarded eyeshadows and have just been using mascara on my eyes, mainly out of laziness. I needed a new one so quickly ran to Superdrug to pick one up. I decided to go with Maybelline Great Lash which I've never tried but always heard great things about, personally I'm not a fan. I found this added no drama, volume or to be honest, anything to my lashes. I have super straight lashes that just do not want to curl, at all. They are pretty long but I always look for mascaras that hold a curl and this just didn't do it for me. I found it looked like I barely had anything on my eye and when I'm wearing minimal makeup, I would prefer to have my eyelashes looking curled and volumised.

<span style="color: #555555; font-family: "playfair display";">I'll definitely be switching up my makeup and trying new things over the next few weeks although some products like the concealer will definitely stay in my routine! Have you tried any of these products? Let me know your thoughts!

<span style="color: #444444; font-family: "playfair display";">I'm pretty lucky when it comes to choosing clothes for my boyfriend, he's very easy to buy for and likes just about anything I pick out for him! I was asked if I wanted to work with Jacamo and feature some of their autumn/winter collection, I knew my boyfriend would jump at the chance so I chose a few pieces I thought my he would like. In the end I went for two smart shirts as these are the kinds of things he tends to wear daily, both at work and on the weekend so I knew they would be a hit. I also chose a pair of boots as he has been in need of some new shoes for blooming ages so these were definitely a must for him!
<span style="color: #444444; font-family: "playfair display";">

<span style="color: #444444; font-family: "playfair display";">Both the shirts I chose were French Connection, the first is their Floral Shirt which is long sleeved and buttoned down at the front. This is the kind of shirt my boyfriend loves, he likes shirts that are slightly 'out there' with a jazzy design so he loved this. This shirt is very wearable for both autumn/winter and spring/summer. In the winter, he'd wear it with a t-shirt underneath and if it was very cold, a jumper over the top with the floral collar peeking out the top but it could also be worn in the summer with a t-shirt underneath and the shirt unbuttoned. Personally, I think this shirt looks best with the sleeves rolled up slightly and the shirt untucked however it would work both ways so whatever floats your boat.
<span style="color: #444444; font-family: "playfair display";">

<span style="color: #444444; font-family: "playfair display";">The second shirt is this Blue Mini Dot Shirt, this is more simple than the floral one but it's still a lovely design and perfect if you find the floral one a bit too 'out there.' This again can be worn through all seasons and is short sleeved so would be absolutely perfect for spring and summer, I think this would be great on holiday with some shorts!
<span style="color: #444444; font-family: "playfair display";">

<span style="color: #444444; font-family: "playfair display";">The boots are by a brand called Williams & Brown, they're a Chelsea Desert Boot in a really lovely sandy beige colour which goes with most outfits. They're made from real suede which I think is amazing considering they're now £36, a bargain for real leather boots! These were really practical when we went on a winter walk through a ton of mud in the woods and my boyfriend didn't have any issues at all with them. In terms of the sizing, my boyfriend is usually a UK 9/9.5 so we picked a size 9 and they came up perfect! He found the shirts came up slightly larger than others so if you're between sizes, it might be worth sizing down if you want a tighter fit.
<span style="background-color: white; color: #555555; font-family: "playfair display"; font-size: 10.6667px;">There have been so many products I've been loving this year, it's safe to say I've definitely spent way too much money at Feel Unique and Cult beauty over the past 12 months. Towards the start of the year, I was still absolutely obsessed with the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer. I've raved about this for years and it's always been a staple in my makeup collection. This gives such good coverage so it's always been on hand throughout my years of terrible skin to hide blemishes and intense redness from breakouts. Towards the end of the year, I decided to try out a new concealer and made an impulse purchase of the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Away Concealer. I've written a full post about this product which you can read here but in short, it's the most moisturising concealer I've tried. It applies so easily to the skin and I also feel like it adds a really lovely healthy glow so it makes my under eyes look bright and radiant, even with very little sleep. When I purchased this concealer, I also decided to try out the Light Wand Highlighter which is 100%, hands down, my favourite product of 2018. I cannot describe how much I love this product, it is a beautiful liquid highlighter that can be incredibly natural or it can create a much more dramatic glow. I have tried liquid highlighters before that can cause foundation to break down and require a fair amount of blending, this product is so easy to apply and blends in seamlessly with my base, even over powder. Another highlighter I've discovered this year is the Becca Opal Pressed Highlighter, I've tried this product before but in the shade 'Pearl' which is a firm favourite too. This is a more golden shade which is more warm than the 'Pearl' shade. Even with a tiny bit of product on the brush, it gives the most unbelievable glow. The Charlotte Tilbury product is more natural than the Becca one so if you like a more subtle glow, I'd recommend that but if you really like your cheekbones to shine then definitely try the Becca one!

<span style="background-color: white; color: #555555; font-family: "playfair display"; font-size: 10.6667px;">I've spoken constantly about the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz and you're probably bored of hearing about it but it's one of my favourite brow products because it's so easy to use and you can make it look extremely natural or create a much more dramatic brow. The only downside to this product is that I find I finish it very very quickly and I am constantly repurchasing it! My lip favourite is the Hourglass Liquid Lipstick in Raven, this is a really vibrant orangey red shade. I really like the finish of this as it's not too drying but it does set matte and last a really long time on the lips. I definitely want to try more shades of this but I am in love with this shade for a dramatic but wearable lip. I think I mentioned the Stila Liquid Glitter in my favourites post last year but I've been obsessed with it again this year. As it's liquid, you don't get any fallout and the glitter doesn't stray and end up all over your face. Once you apply it, it's there to stay and it is incredibly pigmented! I currently have the shades Kitten Karma and Diamond Dust but I will definitely be purchasing more! This is a product you absolutely must try and I recommend it to absolutely everyone!

<span style="background-color: white; color: #555555; font-family: "playfair display"; font-size: 10.6667px;">Beauty Blender Bounce Foundation £32

<span style="background-color: white; color: #555555; font-family: "playfair display"; font-size: 10.6667px;">

<span style="background-color: white; color: #555555; font-family: "playfair display"; font-size: 10.6667px;">I have loved and used a Beauty Blender for years. It's the only tool I use to apply my foundation and it's a product I would not be without so I was so excited when I heard that the company were branching out and planning on bringing out their own foundation. They've made the packaging so you can pump the foundation onto the white plastic and use your Beauty Blender to apply it, therefore saving you using the back of your hand. When it comes to the packaging, I'm not a fan. I find it quite clunky, bulky and annoying to use. There is a little switch on the back of the packaging which closes and opens the pump so you don't accidentally lose foundation while it's in your bag which is a handy feature. However, the way it's made just means it gets really clogged up and it ends up all around the end of the pump. I also had issues with the pump and it shooting foundation everywhere, including onto my clothes which wasn't great.

<span style="background-color: white; color: #555555; font-family: "playfair display"; font-size: 10.6667px;">

<span style="background-color: white; color: #555555; font-family: "playfair display"; font-size: 10.6667px;">I would say the coverage is medium to full, it's definitely not the most full coverage foundation I've tried but it did still cover everything I needed it to without feeling really heavy on the skin. Beauty Blender claim the foundation has 24 hour wear formula, I'm not sure I would 100% agree with this as I found it did come off slightly on my chin area towards the end of the day. However I would still say it lasted a fair amount of time and I didn't have to worry about adding concealer, powdering or touching anything up during the day. Beauty Blender describe the finish as 'velveteen' with a semi-matte finish which I would definitely agree with. It didn't sit matte on the skin and it definitely isn't a dewy product in the slightest but I also didn't have any problems with it clinging to dry patches.

<span style="background-color: white; color: #555555; font-family: "playfair display"; font-size: 10.6667px;">

<span style="color: #555555; font-family: "playfair display";">While I really don't like the packaging, it is quite useful not to use the back of my hand to apply foundation. I have only tried applying it with my Beauty Blender as this is my favourite way to apply ever foundation I try and as per, it works really well to get an even finish. The shade range caused a lot of conversations in the beauty industry due to the lack of diversity when it came to darker shades so hopefully in the future they do try and create more variety of shades so there is something for everyone to wear.

<span style="color: #555555; font-family: "playfair display";">

<span style="color: #555555; font-family: "playfair display";">Overall, I haven't decided if I would repurchase this foundation. I did like it and I had few issues with it, however it's not one that wowed me or was particularly groundbreaking in any way. If you have the money and want to try it out then I think it's worth trying to see how you get on with it as you may really love it.
