I recently started from scratch in terms of my base products, trying a concealer other than my beloved Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer *gasp*. I had wanted to invest in a new foundation, I decided on the Makeup Forever Ultra HD Foundation, this is the updated verson of the HD Foundation which I had tried previously and never gave it a proper chance. This is a little less coverage than I am used to however it is very easy to build it up to the coverage I usually have, without my face looking overdone or cakey. My favourite way to apply this foundation is with a damp Beauty Blender, I apply two or three drops of The Body Shop Oils of Life Facial Oil onto the Beauty Blender and then blend in the foundation. I am completely obsessed with this oil, it has changed the way I apply my foundation and makes my skin look amazing, I am hooked! I recently purchased the LA Girl Concealers in the shade Porcelain and Toast, I use the lighter shade as a highlight and the darker shade as a contour. This looks a lot more natural on my skin compared to powder contour and highlighters. Finally I have been using the NYX HD Studio Finishing Powder, I love the NYX Blotting Powder and had heard great things about this so decided to try it out. So far, I love it! It's brilliant for making my skin look absolutely flawless when it definitely isn't!
