Caudalie Vinosource Moisturising Sorbet £23
Rituals Exfoliating Body Scrub £19.50
Vita Coco Coconut Oil £9.99

The theme of this month's box is "Dreams" and two subscribers could win a dream holiday! I've been looking forward to this month's box since I read the sneak peak in the April box! My favourite products are the Spectrum Beauty Sponge and the Coconut Oil. I only use makeup sponges to apply my foundation so I was super excited when I found out I would receive one in this month's box. I find they make foundation look a lot more natural and give a better finish compared to using brushes. This sponge is a lot firmer than the Beauty Blender so that will always be my favourite tool for applying makeup however this one is a great alternative which is also a lot more affordable! The coconut oil is also a great addition to the box, this is brilliant to use for so many different things. I tend to use it on my hair to keep it healthy but it can also be used as a makeup remover!

What's on my face?

I recently started from scratch in terms of my base products, trying a concealer other than my beloved Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer *gasp*. I had wanted to invest in a new foundation, I decided on the Makeup Forever Ultra HD Foundation, this is the updated verson of the HD Foundation which I had tried previously and never gave it a proper chance. This is a little less coverage than I am used to however it is very easy to build it up to the coverage I usually have, without my face looking overdone or cakey. My favourite way to apply this foundation is with a damp Beauty Blender, I apply two or three drops of The Body Shop Oils of Life Facial Oil onto the Beauty Blender and then blend in the foundation. I am completely obsessed with this oil, it has changed the way I apply my foundation and makes my skin look amazing, I am hooked! I recently purchased the LA Girl Concealers in the shade Porcelain and Toast, I use the lighter shade as a highlight and the darker shade as a contour. This looks a lot more natural on my skin compared to powder contour and highlighters. Finally I have been using the NYX HD Studio Finishing Powder, I love the NYX Blotting Powder and had heard great things about this so decided to try it out. So far, I love it! It's brilliant for making my skin look absolutely flawless when it definitely isn't!

April Favourites

I've been trying a few new products recently and I thought I would share a few of the ones I've been loving lately! I've wanted to try The Body Shop Oils of Life Facial Oil since it came out, I applied it onto my hand and then applied a foundation over the top and it applied amazingly! I've tried a few ways of using this and so far my favourite is to add two drops onto a slightly damp beauty blender and then use that to blend in my foundation. As someone with dry skin, this makes applying foundation so much easier and makes my skin look glowing and healthy! Another product I've been loving to make my skin look more glowing is the Benefit Watt's Up, I prefer this to using a powder highlighter as it looks more natural on my skin. Whereas before I didn't apply highlighter every day, I make sure to wear this every day! My new favourite mascara is the Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara, this is amazing for adding volume to lashes and I absolutely love it, it's also great for holding the curl in my lashes which most mascaras fail to do. My final favourite is the Gerard Liquid Lipsticks, I originally bought two of these and completely loved them so bought two more. These are so nice to apply and stay on all day, my favourite out of the ones I have is Ecstasy, it's such a lovely shade! I have a full post on these products coming up and I'm definitely going to buy more!

April Birchbox

Benefit Dew The Hoola £22.50
Cynthia Rowley Eyeliner £11
Parlor Detangling Leave in Conditioner £17
Kueshi Foot Care Cream £12
Balance Me Tinted Wonder Eye Cream £20

April's Birchbox is in collaboration with Rifle Paper Co and the box is decorated with beautiful flower illustrations. This box is my favourite box in terms of the decoration of it, I love it and think it's so beautiful! In the box, I also received a discount code for Rifle Paper Co to order some of their beautiful stationary, which I will definitely be doing! In the box this month is Dew the Hoola from Benefit, I always love getting Benefit samples in my box and as a big fan of the Hoola box bronzer, I love the concept of this. You can pop this over the top of your foundation or mix it into it to create a natural bronzey glow to your skin! Another favourite from the box is the Cynthia Rowley Eyeliner, I've received this before in a box and love it! It is so pigmented and creamy so it can be used on the waterline or on the lash line!
May's Birchbox is super exciting as you get a Spectrum Collection Blending sponge, I absolutely love my Beauty Blender so I am super excited to receive that in the box!
