My Skincare Routine

Hello! It's my birthday today! Yay! I am currently shopping in central London! Anyway, today I am going to show you all my skincare routine, I finally feel like I have a group of products I like and am using regularly whereas before I was trying to find products that suited my skin and was having a lot of trouble as I seemed to break out for every product I was trying! I am currently on antibiotics for my skin so it has calmed down a lot and I don't have to worry as much about products breaking me out!
I am absolutely loving the Origins Mega-Mushroon Cleanser, a woman I work with also works on the Origins counter and she had been telling me for ages I HAD to try the Mega-Mushroom cleanser, she has also been telling me to buy the serum which I am currently saving up for! I hate mushrooms but this product doesn't smell of mushrooms, it's an odd smell and my mum can always tell when I've used it because apparently my face smells! (lovely!) I have never used a product that has made my face feel as soft and clean as this has! I always thought cleansers were a bit 'meh' I had never found one that really did anything. They all did the job fine but there was nothing special about them, however this product is so lovely! The moisturiser I use is the Simple Replenishing Rich Moisturiser, I have dry skin so finding a good moisturiser is a must for me. This one is thicker than most I have tried but it makes my skin feel so much more nourished!

Once a week I use a mask, I love the Warming Mineral Mask from The Body Shop, as you massage this into your skin it heats up! Its quite an odd feeling but whenever I take this off my skin feels lovely! I have done a full review of the Lush Grease Lightening Here but it has been a stable in my skincare routine for years! I apply some on any spots I have at night and by the morning they have either gone or significantly reduced in size! A new product I have been trying is the Boots Botanics Skin Relief Serum, this contains marshmallow and one of my friends told me I had to try it! I have been using this for a little while and it makes my skin feel lovely! I apply it after I have cleansed at night and in the morning! The final product in my skincare routine is the St Ives Apricot Face Scrub, I have used this for years! I use it about once a week on my skin and it is great, especially as I have dry skin!
